Executive Women International - Wichita Chapter

Welcome to the website of EWI of Wichita.

EWI was originally established in 1938. Currently, EWI has sixty-five Chapters with over 2,500 member firms and 2,800 representatives throughout the United States and Canada.

EWI of Wichita was chartered on January 5, 1970 with Mary Williams from The Coleman Company being the first Chapter President.  We currently have five firms who are charter members: Associated, Berry Companies, Inc., Cessna Aircraft Company, Murfin Drilling Company, Inc., and Westar Energy.

The mission of EWI is simple -- bringing together key individuals from diverse businesses for the purpose of:

Connections - promoting member firms
Careers - enhancing personal and professional development
Community - encouraging community involvement

For EWI of Wichita, we will continue to:

Honor our foundation of connections among member firms
Build our individual and group leadership skills
Pursue our chosen community services
Strive to retain and expand our membership

EWI membership is a powerful resource for both the firm and its representative(s).  If you are interested in learning more about EWI or about membership in our organization, please contact us.

Be sure to check out the Scholarship page.  We support two Scholarships: ASIST (Adult Student in Scholastic Transition), and EWISP (Executive Women International Scholarship Program) which is awarded to a high school student. Details and application forms are available on the tab.

Thank you for checking us out and be sure to browse through the rest of the website.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
